Meet the Founders
Who We Are: The Founders
🩺 Dr. Delgado, MD, BC-AOA (Addiction Medicine)
Dr. Delgado, MD, BC-AOA (Addiction Medicine), is a board-certified Family Medicine & Addiction Medicine Specialist committed to supporting individuals on their journey to lasting sobriety. With extensive experience in correctional medicine, Dr. Delgado has witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by people transitioning from incarceration into recovery. Many of these individuals expressed frustration at the scarcity of high-quality sober living homes, safe, structured, and supportive environments that genuinely help people from all walks of life who are determined to stay sober and move forward toward a brighter future. Driven by this critical need, Dr. Delgado co-founded BrightPath Sober Living with his wife to provide exactly that: substance-free housing that prioritizes accountability, community, and personal growth. BrightPath is designed to complement, not replace, professional treatment and therapy, offering a stable foundation for residents on their path to long-term recovery.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Delgado is passionate about making recovery resources accessible to diverse communities. He was an IMG Scholar at UCLA from 2016-2019, a certified HIV Specialist from 2019-2025, and is currently an active member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine (AOAAM).
🩺 Tetiana
Tetiana, who has a master’s degree in hospitality business and is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, and English, shares Dr. Delgado’s commitment to providing compassionate support to the BrightPath community. What People Are Saying About BrightPath
BrightPath gave me a calm, stable place to rebuild my routines. The house expectations were clear from the start, and the environment stayed respectful. Living with others who understand recovery helped me stay accountable without feeling judged. I felt supported day-to-day, and that consistency made it easier to focus on work, health, and long-term sobriety.
I needed structure after treatment, and this home helped me keep momentum. The rules were straightforward, the space was clean, and the household felt safe and predictable. Having daily responsibilities and supportive housemates made a real difference in my confidence. It wasn’t complicated—just a stable, substance-free environment that helped me stay on track.
What I appreciated most was the consistency. The home stayed substance-free, expectations were communicated clearly, and everyone respected shared spaces. I learned healthier routines and started trusting myself again. The peer support felt real because people here understand the day-to-day challenges. It’s not a clinical setting—just stable housing that supports recovery-focused living.
